    Te Manu Ata invites you to come fishing with us in the deep blue waters of the Leeward Islands of French Polynesia. We are a professional Sportfishing company that specializes in deep sea fishing the amazing waters off the famous Raiatea coastline and nearby islands.

     Within minutes of leaving the Uturoa Harbor in Raiatea, we'll be ready to start fishing! The fishing is spectacular!
Expert sportfisherman the world over make our waters an internationally known fishing destination, but interestingly, it is the beginners (making up the majority of Raiatea's charters crews), that often end up catching the record fish!

Year round Marlin, Tuna, Mahi- Mahi and Wahoo are among the more well known fish we regularly see, but there are many other species as well to try for!

OUR CAPTAIN
     Our captain, Jean Luc Liaut, is a native Raiatean who has been fishing these waters for over 25 years and loves to share his experience with people who like to chase and catch fish, with a special love for the BIG BILLFISH in the waters! Jean Luc is a regular among Polynesian tournaments and always shows a large billfish!

    Not only is Jean Luc the most well known fishing captain on the island, but he is also internationally known in the deepsea fishing industry as a professional lure maker. He custom designs and makes his own lures that sell to Billfishers the world over!

EQUIPMENT:
     28' Bertram "Caribbean" vessel with flying bridge, Black widow Schaeffer outriggers, "International" fighting chair, Penn, International two speed reels, "International" graphite rods with full range of gear from 50 lbs. to 130 lbs. test.
